The Vice President Marketing is responsible for driving the growth of portfolio via differentiated brand marketing and omnichannel strategies. He/She will foster creativity, generate unbridled enthusiasm for the portfolio, and identify new and innovative ways to leverage our brands to establish intimacy and engender loyalty among consumers and customers. She/He has built a best-in-class portfolio because of their commitment to being courageous brand builders. As this innovative company continues to develop new products to meet consumer demands, it needs a best-in-class ambitious pacesetter to lead marketing for their largest business unit. The successful candidate will have strong consumer brand building experience, a general manager mentality, a demonstrated creative and disruptive growth mindset, agile decision-making abilities, strong influence and cross functional team leadership skills, and effective stakeholder management abilities.

This role is responsible for taking ownership of strategic brand development and all associated brand performance metrics. This individual will be the driving force of marketing objectives, strategies, and supporting tactics. We require a seasoned marketer with direct experience in brand management and evolution, preferably in the CPG space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect a comprehensive business plan with leadership including brand objectives and KPIs
  • Define the brand position and accompanying marketing strategy to support DTC and Retail
  • Build brand affinity and loyalty to drive new and repeat purchase behavior for all products
  • Develop strategies and tactics that bring cultural relevance to the brand
  • Strategize and execute an impactful brand strategy across all owned, earned, and paid channels
  • Leverage consumer and industry insights to design powerful brand programming
  • Responsible for the success of all key marketing initiatives from ideation through launch
  • Oversee and support all retail partnership launches and campaigns to drive measurable velocity
  • Manage all agency partners that support marketing, communications, and creative initiatives

Additional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to turn marketing budgets into actionable forecasts
  • Ownership of marketing budget and required analysis of monthly performance to goal
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment around consistent brand direction, key strategic decisions, and business performance Professional Requirements



Minimum Requirements



  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5+ years holding a leadership role
  • A passion for brand storytelling with a data-driven approach to processes
  • Experience leading marketing teams in a high-growth, fast-paced organization
  • Direct management of budgets across digital and traditional channels
  • Strong leadership experience with a "no job is too small" mindset as we scale the business
  • The ability to balance customer-centric, bottom-line, and team-oriented marketing strategies


  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA highly desired


  • Minimum 15+ years brand management in senior position with a significant role in brand/market strategy
  • Proven track record of performance in an organization that is regarded for superior products / services and an innovative approach to the market
  • Solid understanding of a three-tier distribution system, knowledge of the CPG industry,
  • Strong culture and team development, including leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and demonstrated team building are essential
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, including across internal functions (ex. sales, ops, finance,) and external (distributors, customers)
  • Strong focus on profitability and brand growth
  • Solid Trade and consumer focus Proven desire and ability to think creatively coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational, ability to prioritize, excellent project management skills, and solid financial acumen
