The Procurement Assistant is responsible for new supplier set up and maintaining the PO supplier database, continuously measuring and helping to streamline and improve the supplier onboarding process on new PO suppliers.


Under the direction of the Procurement Manager P2P & Compliance and in collaboration with Corporate Procurement, supports Plant Operations by performing the following duties:


Essential Functions will include but not limited to:

1. Communicates with external suppliers and internal customers
2. Gathers and maintains supplier documentations, including, but not limited to; W9/W8, COI, T&Cs, supplier questionnaire, contractor safety guidelines, credit information, etc...
3. Processes various documents for storage and retrieval.
4. Collects, sorts, prepares, and scans documents
5. Acts as a liaison between Corporate Procurement, Business Support, Risk Management, external supplier, and internal customers.
6. Assists Procurement Managers and Procurement Director with information gathering, project investigation as assigned.
7. Perform other similar or related duties as assigned.
8. Occasionally generate order requests into the Procurement system.

Minimum Requirements



Associate in Arts degree (AA) or higher: or equivalent experience

- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
