The role is responsible for managing the Production and Inventory plans in the company’s upstream operations for key species which is critical to supporting direct sales and the ‘Value Added’ business in US, Europe, China, and Japan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and maintains an effective capacity and production planning process by balancing plant utilization/cost and inventory while delivering superior customer service.
  • Identifies supply risks and develops mitigation plans and recommendations for corrective action to secure supply and service levels for all species.
  • Provide E2E Demand – Supply pre and in season view for all species for TFC-Fishing Company.
  • Ensure production plans are aligned with P&L team and executable by ops team keeping in mind margin and customer priority.
  • Identifies and communicates constraints that may impact the achievement of the business demand.
  • Utilizes a collaborative and consensus approach to obtain and align on accurate information for supply planning.
  • Manage Demand – Supply gap assessment and provides required inputs to P&L team for taking buy-sell decisions.
  • Owns and manages the Supply planning Ms Excel and/or Planning applications and provide inputs to continuously improve their performance.
  • Prepares and maintains relevant reports on supply planning – production plans, production adherence reports, and inventory quality tracking
  • Leads Weekly/Monthly supply reviews and actively participates in the Global S&OP process.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensures correctness of data and logic in the system to deliver accurate supply plan recommendations
  • Provides guidance to SAP Supply Planning leads on SAP IBP S&OP implementation (future planning system)
  • Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions
  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings

Minimum Requirements





  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in CPG or Food industry in the areas of supply planning, MRP and IBP/S&OP

Skills / Competencies / Qualifications:

  • Great understanding and working knowledge of E2E Supply Chain process
    • Especially on how MRP and forecast drives overall demand
  • Self-motivated with high degree of initiative and excellent follow-up skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills required. Must enjoy and be proficient in working with numbers and mining data from many sources for insights
  • Comfortable in a fast pace environment (fishing season) with minimal direction and changing priorities
  • Demonstrated change management and process management experience with success working in a team environment is preferred
  • Excellent MS Excel skills required: MS Power-pivots, Optimization modelling
  • Experience working in popular Supply Planning tools (SAP IBP/Oracle etc.) preferred


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Engineering/Mathematics required
  • Master’s degree and/or APICS/SCSM certification in Supply Chain or Business Management desired
