Summary:
The Human Resources Internship is an exciting new position at Trident Seafoods, reporting to the Director, Total Rewards. This role is responsible for supporting the Human Resources Information Systems and Operations areas as we strive to be recognized as the very best place to work. This position is based in Trident’s Seattle (Ballard Neighborhood) offices.

Essential Functions:
• Receive, validate and process transactions with the Dayforce HR system according to strict protocols
• Train employees on how to set up accounts and use the HR system using standard guides
• Contact employees via email and phone to request that they update data in the HR system and maintain lists of outstanding items
• Update records in the applicant tracking system, according to established procedures
• Processes employees address and phone number changes, as needed
• Assist with creating system guides and new employee onboarding and documentation, as needed
• Learn new tools and software as needed to maximize impact and eliminate data inconsistencies
• Run reports and audits to ensure data integrity
• Experience with MS Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Assist the HRIS Analyst and HR team with other duties, as needed
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures
• Good oral and written communication skills
• A customer centric focus and the ability to provide best in class service to our employees


Additional Responsibilities:
• Other duties as assigned
• Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions

Experience:
• 1+ years office experience
Education:
• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or related field.
