The Vice President, Global Human Resources Business Partner serves as a change leader and trusted advisor to the business across various strategic people priorities and operational HR issues, including, but not limited to culture, talent management, strategic workforce planning, people development, compensation, organization effectiveness and design, employee relations, and DEI principles and practices.

We are excited to share this unique and compelling opportunity for an exceptionally motivated HR Leader who wants the opportunity to design, build, lead and develop a global HR Business Partner organization responsible for shaping and executing our strategic people agenda. 

Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this position is an integral part of the Global People Leadership Team responsible for driving exceptional business performance through a strategically aligned and well executed people plan. In addition to bringing a strong breadth and depth of HR acumen to the role, this leader is recognized as a business leader and brings commercial credibility to the HR organization.  Leading a diverse team across many locations and geographies, this role will design the future HRBP organization to deliver exceptional service and value for our people through creative, pragmatic and impactful solutions. 


Business Partner - partner with senior leaders to understand and assess business/functional objectives, develop innovative people solutions and consistently execute agreed upon plans.  Brings a “play to win” mentality helping our teams to adapt and learn more quickly while demonstrating a clear impact on business performance through clear goals, reporting and analytics.

Culture Steward – serves as a guardian and humble role model of our Trident culture, this position is responsible for ensuring all our people practices, processes, and policies consistently reinforce our core values.  This position plays a pivotal role in developing our next generation of culture leaders company-wide in such a way that the legacy and family values live on for future generations.

Talent Developer – consistently seeks out new best practices and innovative solutions to elevate the ways we develop all our people.  From executive succession planning to developing the best front-line supervisors, this role is responsible to building a talent development ecosystem resulting in Trident being recognized as one of the very best leadership development companies in the world.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
  • Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions 
  • Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings

Minimum Requirements



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or, business, or related area required
  • 15+ years of progressive, professional HR generalist experience
  • Multi-country experience


  • Advanced degree
  • Experience leading a global HR organization
  • Multilingual
  • Food manufacturing experience
  • MADJV & Integration Experience
