We are presently seeking an individual who will assist the Accounts Payable department by coordinating and providing quality control for disbursed Accounts Payable checks, under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager.

As a Disbursement Coordinator, you will:

  • Disburse Accounts Payable checks based on provided check routing instructions via USPS, FedEx, or hand delivery (where applicable).
  • Receive utility invoices, scan into Nexus Payables, and route to appropriate Accounts Payable Coordinator for processing.
  • Match Accounts Payable checks to back-up invoices or paperwork, when available.
  • Balance Accounts Payable checks to back-up invoices or paperwork, when available.
  • Monitor and maintain postage meter funds.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

 

 

  • A minimum of one-year office experience required; some accounting experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 10-key calculator skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability multi-task and be a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail orientated, with strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
